GL Account information is imported to Steelhead from your accounting software integration. Otherwise, the information is manually entered. GL Account information available in Steelhead includes:

    • Account Number
    • Type
    • Description

    Integrated GL Accounts

Once GL Accounts are brought over to Steelhead from your integrated accounting software, they can only be added to/edited in your accounting software. This also applies to GL Accounts connected to Products. Make adjustments in your accounting software and use your integration to carry them over to Steelhead.

In the actions column of a GL Account row, there are a few things that can be done:

    • View integration history and whether or not it is connected to accounting software
    • Make updates to Steelhead GL Account, pulled from integrated accounting software
    • Archive/unarchive GL Account
Hide GL Accounts from Part Numbers

To hide GL Accounts from showing up when creating/editing a Part Number:

    1. Go to the Domain Tile.
    2. Search for 'Hide part number accounting' in Domain Settings.
    3. Switch the toggle on.

This should be used when the GL Account invoiced for is desired to come from a related product rather than the associated Part Number.
