Treatments

Treatments are abstract events that are performed that add value to a Part.

Treatments can specify information about what work is to be done on a part. It is common for treatments to be named specifically so that they can be correctly chosen during order entry. Some example treatment names could include:

• Work that indicates billed time
  • Mask & Prep
  • Custom Packaging (Fragile)
• Inventory consumed on the treatment
  • Blast - Fine Grit
  • Powder Blue RAL 12345
• Specifying Equiptment / Settings
  • Auto Oven 4hr
  • Zinc Flake Line
• Other required process steps
  • Unloading
  • Quality Inspection

Stations

A Station where treatments can be performed.

For example, a station named "Oven #1" would be a location able to perform the "Bake" treatment.
