Treatments
Treatments are abstract events that are performed that add value to a Part.
Treatments can specify information about what work is to be done on a part. It is common for treatments to be named specifically so that they can be correctly chosen during order entry. Some example treatment names could include:
- Work that indicates billed time
- Mask & Prep
- Custom Packaging (Fragile)
- Inventory consumed on the treatment
- Blast - Fine Grit
- Powder Blue RAL 12345
- Specifying Equiptment / Settings
- Auto Oven 4hr
- Zinc Flake Line
- Other required process steps
- Unloading
- Quality Inspection
Stations
A Station where treatments can be performed.
For example, a station named "Oven #1" would be a location able to perform the "Bake" treatment.
