A Bill of Lading is a detailed list of a shipment of goods. Usually it's in the form of a receipt given by the Carrier to the person consigning the goods.

Default Carrier:
Set a default Ship method and default Carrier for each customer within the Customer profile page.
- Default Carriers will autofill when creating a Bill of Lading.
- Default Ship method will autofill when creating a Sales Order.
Note:
- Bills of Lading should not be confused with Steelhead's Bills feature.
- Vendors can be paid using the Bills feature.
- They also should not be confused with Billed Time.
- Billed Time is information about Part transfers that Steelhead tracks automatically.
Email Files:
If needed, you can attach User files to Bills of Lading.
- Enables adding, editing and moving User files attached to Bills of Lading.
- Has the same functionality as other User files.
- Shows in "Uploaded Files" page as well as the Bill of Lading page (and Bill of Lading on Shipping dashboard).
- There is also the ability to click a checkbox to attach the file(s) to an email.
