    Advanced Permissions

    Advanced Permissions are configured from each user's individual page. This page describes what access is granted with each permission. To manage permissions, see the general User Permissions page.

    Archive: Spec Measurements

    Controls whether the user is able to edit Specification measurements in the Specs page on the Homepage.

    Using this Permission:

    If the button called 'Edit Specs' does not appear for you, its possible that's because this is a permission turned off in your domain. This permission is called 'Archive: Spec Measurements,' and this will give you access to edit the Specs within the Work Order

    Using Edit Specs:

    To edit Specs on the Work Order, you can go in and edit by clicking the button below:

    Once you are editing Specs, to make it a little clearer to what is all listed in here, you can select to hide Spec and it will only show the name.

    And then whichever Spec you are not wanting, you can choose to archive, or if it's a particular parameter in a Spec Field, that can also be archived.

    Issue: Purchase Order

    Controls whether the user is able to draft and issue Orders in the Purchase Orders page on the Homepage.

    Controls whether the user can see Labor Rates used for Red Line Job Costing

    Write: Domain settings

    See Basic Permissions:

    Controls whether the user has access to change the options in the Domain Settings page on the Homepage. Domain Settings is where you will find a wide assortment of Management options from hiding the camera for all users to setting a default template for emails.

    Write: Financials

    See Basic Permissions:

    Controls whether the user is permitted to edit financial data (PTO allocations, order pricing, payroll etc.)

    Write: Parts Transfer of Type COMPLETE

    Controls whether the user is able to transfer parts for completion at a Station.

    Write: Parts Transfer of Type EXIT

    Controls whether the user transfer parts for exiting at a Station.

    Write: Parts Transfer of Type REWORK

    Controls whether the user transfer parts for reworking at a Station.

    Write: Parts Transfer of Type TRANSFER

    Controls whether the user transfer parts for further transferring at a Station.

    Write: Planning

    See Basic Permissions:

    Controls whether the user is able to use the Capacity Planning page on the Homepage to book Treatments at different Stations, like ovens, primers, blasting machines, and more.

    Rack Permissions:

    To be able to define rack types/quantities on a part number, the permission "Write: planning" should be on.

    Write: Power Tools

    Controls whether the user is able to edit and run the low code of the Steelhead website, what we call our "Power Tools".

    Write: Process Nodes

    See Basic Permissions:

    Controls whether the user can operate, configure, or edit the Nodes in the Processes page on the Homepage. These Nodes are arranged in a visual Process Tree for optimal analysis.

    Write: Products

    See Basic Permissions:

    Controls whether the user is able to create, archive, or edit items on the list in the Product Categories page on the Homepage.

    Write: Quality

    See Basic Permissions:

    Controls whether the user can edit the variety of items in the Dashboard on the Quality Management page on the Homepage. This includes things like Parts on Hold, Nonconformance Reports, Corrective Action Reports, and Return Merchandise Authorizations.

    Write: Reporting

    See Basic Permissions:

    Controls whether the user is able add and edit Reports on various features such as Orders, Invoices, Customer Contacts, and Quotes.

    Write: User Permissions

    Controls whether the user is able to edit the checkboxes on the User Permissions page itself.

    Write: Workboards

    Controls whether the user is able to create, edit, and manage Workboards in the Workboards page on the Homepage.
