This article goes into detail about Scheduling Time Off. For just a general overview, visit the Timesheets Guide article.
You can schedule time off - follow this guide - after establishing Time Off Types and Time Off Allocations for users.
Time Off
Found on the main Timesheets page under the lefthand dropdown Time Off menu, "Schedule Time Off" is a page that allows scheduling time off for users that have Allocated Time Off. To do so, click the red "+ SCHEDULE TIME OFF" button on the top menu bar.
Schedule Time Off for Users
Select the Year and Time Off Type.
Click "+ SCHEDULE TIME OFF" button in the top right corner or the "+" button to the right of a user.
Fill out the fields provided:
- From Date
- Start Time
- Hours to be taken by users as Time Off on each date provided
- User(s) to apply time off to (can Select All)
- Time Off Labor Code
- Add your own comment
Save to schedule time off or Cancel to avoid scheduling time off.
- A time off segment may not exceed two weeks. You must create more than one segment in this case.
- You cannot schedule more time off than that which is allocated.
View Scheduled Time Off
Hourly users' scheduled time off details are displayed in the Scheduled Time Off table. This table includes:
- Name of user
- Role of user
- Allocated Time Remaining
- Click down arrow for more details.
- Scheduled Time Off
- Click down arrow for more details.
- Actions (edit/delete/add time off)
View Calendar
You can also open a daily, weekly, or monthly calendar view under the Timesheets > Time Off > View Calendar menu.
