        Refreshing the Reporting Database


        Article summary

        The Steelhead Reporting database automatically loads new data overnight, between 12-4AM EST.

        In situations where more current data is required, it is possible to manually refresh the database to pull in new production data.


        Manually Refreshing the Reporting Database:

        1. Check the date of the current reporting data.

        2. If the database needs to be refreshed, click on the "Step 1: Request Updated Data" button to request an update. This may take up to ten minutes.

        3. A message will appear indicating that the new data is being requested.

        4. When the requested data is available, a message saying "Job is done" will appear.

        5. Click the "Step 2: Apply New Data" button to sweep the new data into the reporting database. This may take up to ten minutes.

        6. Verify that the expected date and time appear correctly.

        Clear Browser Cache

        You will also see this button meant to clear the cached data that your computer saves from place to place on the site

        • Anything that follows you across multiple pages on a website (like the icons on the top bar and the privacy policy at the bottom) is cache data, and reloading this can get your computer a little speed boost when needed

        • This button only applies to the Steelhead website, we are not able to clear your cache in other tabs on your device, so please ensure that you don't have an excessive number of tabs open
