Receiver

A Receiver is a group of records denoted by a unique identification number (the Receiver ID, or Number) which describe a single received shipment of parts. The primary records are Part Number and Quantity. The associated records in a Receiver may include things like:

• Date Received
• Purchase Order Number
• Purchase Order Item
• Creator (the user who recorded receipt of the shipment)
• Inventory Item received
• Inventory Batch Number
• Notes

A Receiver may also include custom inputs for your records.

In the Receiver page, accessible by clicking a "Receiver ID" numerical link from the Receiving Dashboard, you will also be able to review files which were uploaded when a shipment was received, such as a packing list or photo of parts. You can also view links such as Chat messages surrounding the receipt, and related Journal Entries for Accounting.
