    Linking Inventory Types to Process Nodes

    When you are creating a new process, you can choose to add an inventory type to the process node. This will allow you to choose an inventory item to use when you create work orders from processes that include this node.

    • From the Processes screen, choose the process and then process node that you want to add the inventory type to.
    • On the Process Node screen, scroll down to the Inventory Types section. Click "Add Type."
    • Choose which inventory type you want to add to the process.
    • When you create a new recipe that includes this process node, you'll be prompted to choose your inventory item on the Work Order screen.

    Linking Inventory Items to Recipes

    When you are creating a work order and generating a recipe from an existing Process, you are able to select which inventory types you want to use if that process includes nodes that have been configured with . For example, if the process includes "Paint," you may specify "Black" or Red" when creating a recipe. This can also be configured by linking inventory to Treatments.

    • Generate a new work order.
    • On the work order screen, you can choose to generate a recipe from an existing process, or generate an empty recipe.
    • If the recipe you choose includes a process node that has an Inventory Type configured, you will be prompted to choose Inventory Items.

    Linking Inventory Items to Treatments

    You can specify inventory items to be used with Treatments.

    • On the Treatments screen, choose the treatment you want to link to an inventory type.
    • Click the "Edit Treatment" button on the top right.
    • Choose the Inventory Type and Inventory Item from the drop down lists.
    • Click "Save."
