Feature Access
Features in Steelhead may be restricted or made visible / accessible for any user on the platform. Feature Access can be configured on the "User" page for each Steelhead user or controlled with Permission Groups.
Access to features is controlled throught this list of checkboxes on the Users page. Boxes with a green background are included with enrollment in Permissions Groups.
All Uploaded Files
Controls whether the user is able to view the File Managment system in the "Uploaded Files" page on the Homescreen. This system makes the locating, viewing and downloading of files easy, and is useful for retrieving files if their location isn't known with certainty.
Capacity Planning
Controls whether the user is able to view the Capacity Planning button on the Homescreen. Useful for setting deadlines and booking the treatment of batches in advance.
Carriers
Controls whether the user is able to view the Carriers button on the Homescreen. This page will show the delivery services employed in transporting parts from your Steelhead-powered company.
Certifications
Controls whether the user is able to view the Certifications "Certs" button on the Homescreen. These are used to authorize important developments, like shipping information, and the use of Power Tools.
Customers
Controls whether the user is able to view the Customers button on the Homescreen. Here you can see a list of all the customers with an Accounting ID in Steelhead.
Dashboards
Controls whether the user is able to view the Dashboards button on the Homescreen. This page allows orders from different customers to all be tracked from one location.
Domain
Controls whether the user is able to view the Domain button on the Homescreen. The Domain Settings are where site-wide preferences can be selected, which are sure to have a wide range of uses in managing Steelhead.
Inventory
Controls whether the user is able to view the Inventory button on the Homescreen. This page will show the amount and cost of all Parts, Treatment Materials, and other items in use by a company.
Invoicing
Controls whether the user is able to view the Invoicing button on the Homescreen. This is where all bills and invoices for parts treated by a company can be viewed and managed.
Locations
Controls whether the user is able to view the Locations button on the Homescreen. This page will show the parts and stations of a plant using Steelhead.
Maintenance
Controls whether the user is able to view the Maintenance button on the Homescreen. This page is used for setting up maintainance events and planning events that will reoccur on a schedule.
Outsourcing
Controls whether the user is able to view the Outsourcing button on the Homescreen. Here, the outsourcing of parts can be tracked and specified, and their packing slips can be viewed.
Part Numbers
Controls whether the user is able to view the Part Numbers button on the Homescreen. This page is a catalog of the wide variety of parts that are being treated in Steelhead.
Part Transforms
Controls whether the user is able to view the Part Transforms button on the Homescreen. This page enables the alteration, shortening, and otherwise reworking of parts to be managed.
Prices
Controls whether the user is able to view the Prices button on the Homescreen. This will show the price per measurment of all products and their treatments.
Prioritization
Controls whether the user is able to view the Prioritization button on the Homescreen. This page is used to arrange and organize the treatment of Work Orders by the time they take place.
Process
Controls whether the user is able to view the Processes button on the Homescreen. This page is a catalogue of all the processes, or sets/lists of treatments, that are used in Steelhead.
Products
Controls whether the user is able to view the Product Categories button on the Homescreen. This is a catalog of all the types of parts and treatment materials without the level of detail shown on the Inventory or Prices pages.
Purchase Orders
Controls whether the user is able to view the Purchase Orders button on the Homescreen. This page shows all the Purchase Orders and their Drafts that have been created by a company.
Quality Management
Controls whether the user is able to view the Quality Management button on the Homescreen. The Dashboard here contains items such as Parts on Hold, Nonconformance Reports, Corrective Action Reports, and Return Merchandise Authorizations.
Quotes
Controls whether the user is able to view the Quotes button on the Homescreen. This page is a catalog of all the Part Treatment Process requests that have been Ordered or "Quoted" by customers.
Racks
Controls whether the user is able to view the Racks button on the Homescreen. This page is a catalog of all part racks that are in use and tracked on Steelhead.
Received Orders
Controls whether the user is able to view the Received Orders button on the Homescreen. This page is a catalog of all orders as they have been placed by customers, which in many cases will be separated out into multiple Work Orders.
Receiving
Controls whether the user is able to view the Receiving button on the Homescreen. This page is used to manage the authorization or receiving of ordered Parts and other Items.
Reporting
Controls whether the user is able to view the Reporting button on the Homescreen.Reports are written on various features such as Orders, Invoices, Customer Contacts, and Quotes.
Schedules
Controls whether the user is able to view the Schedules button on the Homescreen. This page is used to create Schedules and station the types of tasks that are to be completed in a plant.
Sensors
Controls whether the user is able to view the Sensors that have been applied to some specs. These are useful for automatically determining the exact results of a spec.
Shipping
Controls whether the user is able to view the Shipping button on the Homescreen. This page is used for managing the shipment of items and drafting their packing slips and Bills of Lading.
Specs
Controls whether the user is able to view the Specs button on the Homescreen. Specs are used for making sure that the quality of an Item and its associated treatment process is satisfactory.
Stations
Controls whether the user is able to view the Stations button on the Homescreen. This page is a catalog of all the stations that are used to treat items and Parts in Steelhead.
Tags
Controls whether the user is able to view the Tags button on the Homescreen. Tags may be applied to Process and Treatment types on Steelhead, and allow changes made to the process in one location to cascade to others.
Timer Dashboard
Controls whether the user is able to view the Timer Dashboard button on the Homescreen. This page is a catalog of all timers that are active in Steelhead, used for measuring activity of stations and part racks, hours someone has worked in a shift, and hours since someone's last shift.
Timesheets
Controls whether the user is able to view the Timesheets button on the Homescreen. Used for tracking the work hours of all users.
Treatments
Controls whether the user is able to view the Treatments button on the Homescreen. This page is a catalog of all Process Treatments that run in Steelhead.
Trucks
Controls whether the user is able to view the Trucks button on the Homescreen. This page is a catalog of all trucks registered at your Steelhead-powered company. Trucks can be scheduled from the Trucking Dashboard in Shipping.
Units
Controls whether the user is able to view the Units button on the Homescreen. This page is a catalog of all units of weight and measure used by your Steelhead-powered company.
Users
Controls whether the user is able to view the Users button on the Homescreen. This page is a catalog of all users enrolled in your company's copy of Steelhead.
Vendors
Controls whether the user is able to view the Vendors button on the Homescreen. This page is a catalog of all vendors (companies) using this copy of Steelhead.
Workboards
Controls whether the user is able to view the Workboards button on the Homescreen. This page is where parts and their associated processes will be managed, worked, and transferred between treatment stations.
Work Orders
Controls whether the user is able to view the Work Orders button on the Homescreen. This page is a catalog of all orders as they are treated in the plant. Many Work Orders can be contained in one Received Order.
