    For Steelhead CRM (Customer Relationship Management) users, Steelhead Email has additional functionality to what's available in the individual Steelhead Dashboards.

    Steelhead Mail

    The Steelhead Mailbox has the appearance and functionality of a standalone email software package, with special care taken to eliminate clutter and spam.

    Only emails responding to your Steelhead emails, or sent from a Steelhead email account will show up here, so unwanted spam should be eliminated completely.

    Emails from any Dashboard which you elect to share may be viewed in every User's mailbox within your Domain.

    The Mailbox is accessible from every page in Steelhead by clicking the Mail clickable icon on the right-hand side of the navigation banner: Screenshot 2025-02-10 at 9.12.00 AM.png

    In the Mailbox you can save and review email drafts, track sent and received emails from every Dashboard (such as Quotes, Packing Slips, Invoices, etc.), and stay up-to-date on emails which were shared by others. You can also forward emails, and add reminders such as "Mark Read", or mark messages with a Star to find them later.

    The Mailbox can organize messages according to any Customer, Sales Order, QM incident, etc. either by searching in the Mailbox, or by clicking through to one record in any associated Dashboard.

    Autofill Text

    The autofill feature will save time when you email Customers updates from Dashboards like Quotes and Ready to Ship. When you turn on the clickable clock icon toggle (Screenshot 2025-02-10 at 11.41.57 AM.png vs. Screenshot 2025-02-10 at 11.51.00 AM.png) in the upper-right corner of the email composition dialog box, the body text will autofill with whatever message you last sent to the same customer from the same Dashboard. The individual document number will appear in the subject line, and these entries may be edited for each message. The autofill feature can help you standardize your customer communications.

    Another clock toggle icon allows you to autofill the "To" address with the same contact information which was used for the last email of the same type to the same customer.

    Add Multiple Recipients or Files

    You can send an email to as many contacts as you wish by adding addresses from your contacts, or typing them into the "To" field. You can also click on "ADD" on the Attachments line to include extra pictures or documentation with your message.
